We had a great stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions and shopping streets within walking distance. The hostel itself was clean and well-equipped, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen and common areas were also very nice and had everything we needed. The manager, Stein, was welcoming and helpful, making our experience even better. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. We also enjoyed meeting friendly and fun people during our stay.

My recent stay at Baron's was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, and it served as a great base for sightseeing. The highlight for me was the breakfast spread in the spacious common area, which had a good variety of options. The owners were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to store my bags early when I arrived before check-in. Plus, the hostel is conveniently located near the main bus stop and bus stop 8 for tours. An added bonus was the public pool right next door, where I could relax in the hot tubs and sauna for a small fee. I had a fantastic experience at Baron's and would definitely recommend it to others!

The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and ample amenities like electric and USB ports by the bedside. The self-service breakfast provided a wide variety of options, including meat, cheese, boiled eggs, bread. The location was ideal, close to bus stop 8 for convenient day tours, and within walking distance of popular attractions and the BSI Terminal for airport transfers.
Although the overall cleanliness was good, some areas of the kitchen needed more attention in terms of cleanliness. It would have been preferable to have wash basins outside the toilet to address any potential odor issues.

I stayed at Baron's for a week while exploring Iceland. The breakfast was a dream for someone with gluten intolerance, with a wide range of delicious options. The staff were incredibly flexible, allowing me to check-in early. The spacious single room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of storage. The shared bathrooms and showers were well-maintained. The communal kitchen was fully stocked and well-cared for. The hostel's location was central yet peaceful, and just steps away from a public indoor pool. a fantastic experience!
Would definitely recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at Baron's for the second time and was once again impressed. The room was clean, bright, and airy with a big window. The common room/kitchen had beautiful bay windows with a great view. The continental breakfast was plentiful and offered early in the morning, perfect for red-eye flights. The location is very central, a short walk from the main shopping streets and the bus station. The managers are friendly and helpful to first-time visitors. It's excellent value for the city.
Would recommend.

I really got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was comfortable, the bed and bedding were top-notch, and I even had a towel included. The location couldn't have been better, right next to the Hallgrimskirkja church and the BSI Terminal. Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
As for the breakfast option, it would be great if they could replenish the food throughout the serving period. I noticed that the early risers got the best choices, while latecomers were left with whatever was remaining.
